Team Ausamerica.

The participants in the Int. GS Trophy 2018.

It has been a big surprise at the Int. Female Team Qualifier in South Africa: Not one, but two teams are going to compete in the International GS Trophy 2018 in Mongolia. Apart from the team "GS Femme For Fun", these female participants will give their best and support each other in Mongolia: Julia Maguire (33) from Melbourne / Australia, Jocelin Snow (46) from California / USA and Bettina Nedel (51) from Colorado / USA.

Which bike do you ride and what has been your biggest adventure?

A R 1200 GS Rallye, Yamaha YZ 125 & YZ 250 X, KTM 250 EXC, Honda CBR 954 RR. My biggest adventure has been competing in the 2015 Finke Desert Race – and the Int. Female Team Qualifier in South Africa!

What is the most appealing thing for you about the GS Trophy?

The opportunity to experience a new place and culture with a team of like-minded moto-women. And to show everyone how strong we are and hopefully inspire other women to chase their dreams and challenge themselves.

How have you prepared yourself for this GS Trophy 2018 qualifier?

With less than two weeks to prepare I did as many skids as possible and increased my strength training. I’m looking forward to some serious training to prepare for the event in Mongolia.

Please finish the following sentence: For the adventure of my life I would take the following things with me...

Water, lip balm, sunscreen, good company and a GS!

Which bike do you ride and what has been your biggest adventure?

I ride a R 1200 GS Adventure and a R 1200 GS Rallye. All my adventures have been great and I have had many, including a recent 30-day 12,000 mile ride to Alaska. But my biggest adventure was the trip to South Africa with the GS Trophy girls.

What is the most appealing thing for you about the GS Trophy?

Meeting and making friends, learning about their riding stories and supporting each other.

How have you prepared yourself for this GS Trophy 2018 qualifier?

I feel even if I had more time I would not be fully prepared for this. I have ridden every chance I get to prepare – and thankfully it was enough to get me to the Int. GS Trophy 2018.

Please finish the following sentence: For the adventure of my life I would take the following things with me...
My GS, my spirit, my positive attitude, heart, my motivation and most importantly my smile!
