What was your motivation, applying for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

I would like to join the festival for GS riders in the whole world. I believe that the participation itself will be a turning point in my life.

Which bike do you ride and what is the most exciting or surprising story you have experienced with it?

I have been riding a R 1200 GS for a year, and this way, was able to discover beautiful scenery during the GS moto-camping. Actually, I was surprised by the performance at GS. Whether a highway or forest road, the event takes place everywhere and regardless of the actual weather conditions.

What is the most appealing thing for you about the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

Riding my bike at the GS event is comparable to participating in a triathlon. As the following skills are equally required: riding skills, physical strength and cooperative spirit. So it seems to be full of masculine beauty.

What does the Spirit of GS mean to you?

My slogan is "Life like GS". I want to live my life solving any problem like GS does, where every road can be passed without any problem. I believe this is the spirit of GS.

How do you prepare yourself for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

I'm preparing the next year's GS festival together with my colleagues - Korean teamwork. This means more or less: fitness training similar to a place as the Mongolian desert.

What was your motivation, applying for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

I love the GS festival so much. I cannot help but taking part in this event which is known to be very challenging, riding and enjoying my GS bike.

I have once challenged myself by participating in the previous qualifying event for the Int. GS Trophy 2016, but failed regretfully ranking only 7th. However, I have had intensively prepared myself for the Int. GS Trophy 2018 for the last two years, and got ranked 2nd in this qualifying event. I am very surprised and happy that I can join the GS Trophy 2018 at last.

Which bike do you ride and what is the most exciting or surprising story you have experienced with it?

I have rode my R 1200 GS Adventure for 25,000km so far. What's good at participating in GS is that I can enjoy my time with good friends and surely will meet new ones. I love seeing myself progressing when trying to achieve my goals at GS. It is always enjoyable and challenging being part of the GS festival and its camping tour.

What is the most appealing thing for you about the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

The ones riding a GS may love travelling and I am for sure one of them. Riding GS with bikers from different countries is absolutely great. Mongolia, representing Mother Nature best, makes this experience even greater to me. I am having a good time and especially looking forward to all the new friends I am gonna make at the Int. GS Trophy 2018.

What does the Spirit of GS mean to you?

Collaboration and team harmony. That's what I always talk about to my friends when we bike together. Going together makes us stand out than participating separately.

How do you prepare yourself for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

GS Trophy is a team game. As a team member, I will try my best not to be an obstacle to us winning. I have got one year left and will try my best as I did for the qualifying event. We, 3 finalists, will have exercises with the participants of the GS Trophy 2014 and 2016, and the goal is to finish the GS Trophy 2018 in the upper ranks. Team Korea Fighting!

What was your motivation, applying for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

The Int. GS Trophy is like a shining star in the sky. By riding a GS bike, I could travel the fields, mountains, and rivers. But the only place I couldn’t  go was the sky. I wish to see the shining star in the Mongolian sky where the Int. GS Trophy is held. And I wish I can gather those stars.

Which bike do you ride and what is the most exciting or surprising story you have experienced with it?

I have been riding my R 1200 GS for 3 years. I did not just ride, but I could also get to know the beauty of our country that I did not noticed before through GS motorcycle-camping.

What is the most appealing thing for you about the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

The most attractive thing about the Int. GS Trophy is to meet people from other countries. Although their language, culture, and ideas may differ, through GS Trophy I hope it can be a great opportunity to share our dreams and passions.

What does the Spirit of GS mean to you?

I think it means the challenge of exploring new roads. Regardless of the journey being off road or not, it means challenging the road itself.

How do you prepare yourself for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

I'm actually preparing every day for this festival. Every day I run 5km and practice my motorcycle skills. On weekends, I ride a rough road in search of anything similar to a place as the Mongolian desert.
