What was your motivation, applying for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

The Int. GS Trophy is one of the most spectacular adventure events nowadays, and the opportunity to challenge at this level and to defend my country's honor is very motivating.

Which bike do you ride and what is the most exciting or surprising story you have experienced with it?

F 800 GS. The most interesting story happened to be in Morocco. We didn’t know the route and apparently it ran across a shallow river. We thought it will be only lasting for about 20 or 30 meters, but actually we had to force a total crossing of more than 150 meters. And against expectations, it was not very shallow! But still, we made it!

What is the most appealing thing for you about the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

The competition itself is the most appealing thing to me. I have been in Mongolia before and can surely say: there are no roads there – that’s a perfectly chosen spot for GS taking place. We are sure that we and our motorcycles will give our very best!

What does the Spirit of GS mean to you?

Besides freedom and adventures, the GS event is always about teamwork. The perfect bikes and company to ride with.

How do you prepare yourself for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

We have actually started even before the Russian qualifying took place. We have got almost one more year of preparation work left– but that’s not much. So we gonna have a very busy schedule until GS starts.

What was your motivation, applying for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

I love motorcycles, adventures, sports, travelling and having an active lifestyle! The Int. GS Trophy is a perfect opportunity to combine all of the above in a single event, and also to represent my country on a worldwide level. The spirit of challenge is my perfect motivation.

Which bike do you ride and what is the most exciting or surprising story you have experienced with it?

F 800 GS. Once we had a trip in the deep forest. I love my motorcycle – it moves me and make me feel happy. We took a shortcut, but this time the terrain was so swampy that we had to literally carry our bikes on our hands for six hours. That was really tough! But that’s the way we got really linked to our motorcycles: the real unity of bike and rider.

What is the most appealing thing for you about the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

To compete with the best GS riders in the world – and to win! Yes, the country is great, but the challenge is the most exciting part. Fortunately, we have some time left to prepare.

What does the Spirit of GS mean to you?
The Spirit of GS is a pure adventure. It is the perfect story. All these challenges, emotions – it’s a experience money cannot buy.

How do you prepare yourself for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

Our preparation is based on three pillars: gym, driving skills and teamwork. We have a plan and will do our best. We will even improve our English!

What was your motivation, applying for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

The love for motorcycles. Love for adventures. Love for travel. It comes all together at the GS festival. It’s a real pioneering spirit. For me it’s an honor to participate at such a world-class event. The victory is my motivation.

Which bike do you ride and what is the most exciting or surprising story you have experienced with it?

I actually own six motorcycles, two of them are GS: F 800 GS and R 1200 GS. It’s a motorcycle which opens frontiers. You can drive everywhere you want to. I travelled 11 countries around the Black Sea, in Africa and Australia. Australia was my first ride on a GS ever: we crossed the country and drove 3500 kilometers in 8 days. Since this experience, I am considering myself a GS-addicted.

What is the most appealing thing for you about the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

Even before it was announced that the Int. GS Trophy will take place in Mongolia, I had already planned a trip to this country in 2018. When I heard the news, I said to myself: it will be great to win the national qualifying event and be able to compete in Mongolia and bring home the GS Trophy! BMW Motorrad knows how to make adventures, and the spirit of challenge also drives me!

What does the Spirit of GS mean to you?

It means freedom. Adventures. Pioneering. The very core of GS is that it opens up a different world to you. When you start riding GS, it will change your social circle, interests and lifestyle.

How do you prepare yourself for the Int. GS Trophy 2018?

We have already started! We will attend driving schools, do the gym and everything that is needed to succeed at GS. Because our goal is simply victory!
